Be as thou art - Munay Ki

Who are you...
Do you even know who and what you are not ?
Where do you end and everything else begins ?
Why does the actions and thoughts of others affect you ?

WHO ARE YOU..

Being born in Jamaica a nation who's motto is "Out of Many one People" or atleast the current motto as previously the motto was INDUS UNTERQUE SERVIET VNI is the Latin translation for "The two Indians will serve as one", or rather "Both Indies will serve Together", in reference to the collective servitude of the Taino and Arawak Indians to the colonizers.
OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE - what is it that makes us ONE PEOPLE..

Were we ever one before ?
Were we ever really separated ?

Most jamaicans have mixed families, we were taught that all the taino / arawkas died but we learned this was not so, many escaped to the hills and the african slaves that escaped met with the true natives of the land.

In jamaica today the slaves that escaped are called maroons and there descendants the rest are simply jamaicans, but they are all jamaicans.
All slaves once freed were marooned on this island with no way to return to there roots, so all african jamaicans are maroons....

What of the true natives of this land that we inherited sacred sites from, the maroons may have had there own view of caves and sacred sites but they were well established spiritual sites for centuries before there arrival.

Inheritance - Inheritance is the practice of passing on property, titles, debts, rights and obligations upon the death of an individual. It has long played an important role in human societies. The rules of inheritance differ between societies and have changed over time.--

We inherited this land from the natives, and with it there connection to the earth.

I always wondered where this deep connection to native practices came from within me,  when I visited accompong and meditated in the forest a clear vision came to me of the land defeating the british, of the land fighting against the enemies of the maroons and choosing them as protectors of sacred spaces and sites.

The maroons inherited the blessings of this island and the ancestors that lived here from the Taino, and as an earthkeeper i inherited this calling of protecting mother earth and the wisdom she holds.

Munay-KI is a set of initation rites from the Qero shaman of peru.
The word “Munay-Ki” (moon-eye-key) simultaneously means “I love you” and “Be as thou art.”  This is a beautiful reminder that love arises from what is most authentic within us.  All of Creation wishes us to be who we were born to be.

Indigenous is who I truly am.

Insight from my Light and Shadow Guides..

In the middle of a regular day A voice calls out to me , I tune into that voice and feel a familiar presence I recognise it is my newly re-acquianted spirit guide, the aspect that was hidden in the shadows since balancing my energy we have been growing closer to each other I listened to the teachings from my shadow and light spirit guides about energy , vibration , and life.
The guidance received is detailed below.

Guide - You see them walking around aimlessly if only they knew that what they perceive is not even half of the story.

You understand don't you Kalan, that what is perceived in your world is the objects that reflect light that is what your eyes see.

For the objects that hmm.. lets say reject light they too exist at a lower vibration and you cannot see but feel these energies / entities.

The energies / entities from this realm know not of the human realm which has light and darkness, day and night, for them their is only darkness.

How they would love to enter the middle realm as a bird, an ant, a plant, or a stone just to be in a realm of experiences and perceptions through several senses.

When a human drops their vibration to an extremely low level to the darkest parts of their being filled with only despair and desperation they receive a glimpse of the lower vibration levels, these entities/ energies will also perceive them as strange beings showing them a way out and they will cling to this person trying to escape from their space.
The lower vibrational energies / entities see our realm as a heaven, a promised land spoken of in fable, with beings that are gifted with choices oh how they long to be in human form little do they know that we all can raise or lower our vibrations, shifting between states if we so desire simply through tapping into the divine source .

Now the humans they too seek to raise their vibrations, in your realm you perceive what reflects light but what does not reflect light you cannot perceive, their are high vibrational beings that exist in a world of seemingly pure light some have witnessed these lights in the sky these aliens to you. You seek to understand, to learn how to escape this realm or make use of their technology and tools. Those humans that become aware of higher vibrational levels and consciously choose to raise to the light you perceive them as strange beings showing you a way out and likewise you cling to them for escape, you seek to posses these beings just as much as the lower vibrational beings seek to posses us. You glorify these teachers some even claim them to be more than man , viewing them as your salvation if only you realised that we all can raise or lower our vibrations, shifting between states if we so desire simply through tapping into the divine source.
RAS -Tafari didn't expect there to be a RAS -Tafarism after his departure, the Christ did not expect there to be Christ-ians , the Buddha did not expect there to be Buddhist.

You share this planet with so many other beings and as a part of me dwells in the shadow and the light, so too there are beings of the shadow and beings of the light do not misinterpret as there is nothing to fear .. on the contrary raise your love and help all the Earthlings visible, and invisible to raise with your vibrations and the vibrations of the planet.
Understand that just as you seek the light, the SHADOW seeks the light as well, you are blessed to have day and night, light and dark the SHADOW seeks that as well to be able to dwell comfortable in all states all spheres all systems of life, even the LIGHT desires the balance of walking in the dark and rejoicing in its magnificent glorious LIGHT .
THE SHADOW CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT THE LIGHT AND THE LIGHT KNOWS ITSELF IN THE SHADOW. THE BRIGHTER THE LIGHT THE GREATER THE SHADOW

Silent Mind Meditation Insight 5: Man God's After Image

My Insight I received today was while doing a Trataka meditation, this involved focusing on a candle until my eyes got watery then with my eyes closed focusing on the after image holding it for as long as I could, during this meditation below details the insights I received this was a first time experience as I would normally gain insights after my trataka meditation not during.

Experience:

As I focused on the flame I saw small sparks of energy and the beautiful glow in the rainbow colors emanate from this small wick before, I felt a sense of peace, giving into this peace I closed my eyes and focused on the after image a small yellow tear drop shaped glow with a green and purple outline amidst the pitch black backdrop of my closed eyes.
As I focused on this after image observing as it shrank to nothingness before me from the pitch black appeared a scene.
I observed Spirit, the creator desiring an experience, manifesting a woman on earth to have this experience, spirit was not seen but I was aware that the pitch black darkness that surrounds this woman felt familiar to the pitch black of my closed eyes, to allow this woman to have an experience of forgiveness spirit had to create another individual to harm her and from that encounter she experienced forgiveness , I observed as the woman , the man, the entire scene disappeared returning to darkness similar to my afterimage of the candle. 
I then observed as  Spirit created several individuals, animals plants our world in this darkness, desiring several experiences , as each experience was accomplished that manifestation would fade and return to spirit.
I observed special souls that though created to have an experience they were aware of this fact, they communicated with spirit, I observed how there afterimage grew in color, it was extremely vivid impossible to fade out , these individuals through communicating with spirit assisted the other manifestations with accomplishing their initial desire, their soul contract, their purpose for being manifested after observing this my mind returned to the pitch black of my closed eye lids.
