New Moon in Aquarius

The NEW MOON/SOLAR ECLIPSE occurs on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 4:06 PM EST. On Thursday afternoon, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Aquarius. As a Solar Eclipse, its effects can impact the coming six months. In the sign of Aquarius, friendship, fellowship, group activities, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, humanitarian efforts, or joining a group can be in sharp focus, prompting new beginnings with these matters.

A New Moon a moment to halt, spend time within and focus on our desire for the next Full Moon.

A new moon gets us to prepare for it by emptying out everything that precedes it.

This event, like all astrological occurrences, are cyclical ones. In preparing for the next go around we can lay down what we think we should do in order to make space so that we might be more attuned to what our lives are asking us to do. We lay down our small will in order to reconnect with the larger one that guides our life.

The opposite sign and the antithesis of sometimes self-centered Leo, Aquarius comes to cool the fires of identity and moves the attention towards the collective. The water-bearers among us get extra opportunities to kick-start their vital signs and rededicate themselves to all they wish to bring forth this birthday year.

Aquarius is a sign that is after clarity of thought, innovative ideas and distinguishes itself by its ability to articulate the most difficult of concepts. Aquarius is brilliant, concerned with the collective and a little unwilling to do warm and fuzzy. Aquarius wants to know how the masses will get the collective machine moving but doesn’t necessarily need to stop and get emotionally enmeshed with the personal details of all involved. This is a big picture sign that wants to understand the intersecting realities of life and how to make manifest a fair and just world for all.

A new moon in this sign is the cracking open of our own personal innovation. This moon is asking some poignant questions about how we view our lives, how to review them and how to make the necessary changes without getting too emotionally messy.
 Our meager minds tend to think that life should flow in a linear fashion, that things should work out in the ways we expect them to and set them up to do. But they don’t.

New Moon in Aquarius Ceremony :

The ceremony is as follows:

1. OPEN SACRED SPACE you can use a prayer or simply set your intentions asking for your higher self/ creator to enter your space and allow all that will be done to work towards the benefit of yourself firstly and all around you.

2.)get a pen / pencil and a sheet of paper.

3.Hold the writing instrument to your heart and then your head, do the same with the paper .. your intentions should be to inscribe on this paper your desires, your New beginnings that this moons energy will propel you towards.


4.Write all of your desires on the paper, to help with ideas split them into Health, Abundance, Power, Love (be conscious that your desires is for you and the betterment of ALL)

5.Repeat a simple incantation to express your intentions an example is " Great Spirit, I am filled with gratitude for your guidance and gifts, may the waters of blessing wash over me and all I meet"

6.Place your hands in prayer pose with your thumbs touching your forehead :

 -Take a seat now, and visualise water running from the moon towards your hands and washing over your entire body, visualise grand mother moon with a great pitcher bathing you under the darkness of the moon with the energy to create your desire and manifest what you seek.
Feel this water run through your finger tips to your elbows and through out your body, also from your thumbs to your forehead and throughout your body.
Visualise all your worries washed away (as a mercury retrograde approaches good for us to cultivate patience and surrender).

7. After completing the prayer pose for approximately 5-10mins take the paper with your intentions place them on your heart visualising the manifestation of all you have written and then keep them in a safe place until the next full moon.

8.Give thanks to your spirit guide / creator and close your sacred space.

It is advised that during this moon cycle whenever you  feel agitated or delayed in your plans to practice the prayer pose and visualise the waters so you may find your center.

The Mythology of Aries

Aries is known as the sign of new beginnings. In asyrian mythology Aries means "prince" Indicating that by nature and the first sign of the zodiac aries is a leader.

The asian glyph popularly thought to represent the horns of the ram was also said to be a primitive representation of the human eyebrows and nose and  'fount' of energy indicating the source of the Arian energy drive - both these having associations with the head over which Aries has rule. The Ancient Egyptians equated Aries with the Ram headed God, Amun, or Amon-Ra, Sun- God, creator and leader of the universe.

With the energy of March 27th It is a time to step into our NEW beginnings, some shifts have taken place during the last lunar cycles which were in aid of adding balance to your life, you may feel as if you have great tasks to accomplish on your own but Great Spirit and the energy of this cycle is with you, bringing your being into harmony and balance.

Spend a moment in silence visualising what you truly desire and visualise the wind carrying you over any potential obstacles towards your desires.

6.When it feels right blow out the candle and be conscious that as the wind moves so does your desires / intentions towards great spirit.

7.after the ceremony Keep your paper in somewhere safe until the Next Full Moon.

New Moon in Pisces

New Moon February 26th

As with all New Moon this symbolizes the planting of new seeds new intentions, this new moon will be in the zodiac sun sign of pisces (it is also a SOLAR ECLIPSE) - 

Through journeying to Mama quilla/ BiBi Karaya (grand mother moon) and mam cocha / Atabey (mother of the waters) they have shared with me that the significance of this new moon is to deepen our spiritual and inner practice. As you know the symbol for pisces is two fish, this represents duality the internal and external, the light and dark, the dual aspect humanity chooses to accept, finding peace and connecting these two sides of self creates peace in our day to day experiences. 
March 1st in christianity is the beginning of Lent a 40 day period used to sacrifice some aspect of our lives in search of a stronger connection to spirit, this new moon assists the energy of Lent but not to sacrifice or give up, but to deepen our practice as Jesus deepened his practice in the wilderness before being tested. The pisces is the last of the zodiac signs and with that in mind it urges us to review the energy of all the signs that came before it, as we prepare our self for the budding and blossoming desires / intentions of spring (vernal equinox March 20th).

This new Moon ceremony instructions below is to help you for the upcoming full moon (march 12/13th Full Crow Moon, those of us in Jamaica have already seen the black birds all over heralding the approach of spring) and the energy that will follow  .

The ceremony is as follows:

1. OPEN SACRED SPACE you can use a prayer or simply set your intentions asking for your higher self/ creator to enter your space and allow all that will be done to work towards the benefit of yourself firstly and all around you.

2. get a bowl with water and a candle or anything that represents Fire Energy

3.place one hand in the bowl and the other above the candle (just to feel the warmth you can also be near a fire or fire place)

Repeat the following words focusing on the water :Atabey / Mama Cocha mother of the waters teach me to ride the waves of life, accepting the lessons in every experience as they groom me towards your glory.

Repeat the following words focusing on the fire: Yocah /InTi- titi great sun (son), spark my passions within me, show me the trail I am to follow shinning my light for all to see.

4.Repeat the following focusing on your heart; Great spirit, may the fire of my passions, the eb and flow of my emotions, and the guidance from great spirit unite all aspects of my being, light and dark, mind and emotions, inward and outward.

5.Focus on your heart and visualise the water and the fire encircling each other within  you, always close but never touching finding your center your peace.

while visualising speak aloud all the things you desire whether they seem contradictory or not, trust that grand mother moon will hear your request and lead you towards a practice that will strengthen your health, love life, clarity and abundance.

6.When you are finished ask Atabey /mama quilla for a word that will help you to tap into the energy of your becoming the healed you...

7.after the ceremony out the fire but keep the water in a jar or cup have it by your bedside while you sleep (cover it if you feel led) each morning until the 12th (full moon) repeat the word you received from Atabey /mama quilla dip a finger in the water and place on your forehead then heart.

Give thanks to your spirit guide / creator and close your sacred space.

Full Snow Moon / Hunger Moon of February

Full Snow Moon (Lunar Eclipse) – February Since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February’s full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult.

During  the coming full moon take the time to contemplate your journey through this month seen as a very harsh time throughout the world, with a state of gratitude reflect on all of the highlights throughout this season,
 notice the intentions you had set for yourself.
notice those that were met and those that were not ?
notice pleasant surprises and give thanks.
notice the unexpected obstacles and give thanks.
notice the lessons received from these obstacles and give thanks.
notice friendships that have grown stronger and give thanks.

At the end of the Full snow moon as we approach spring many trees will have died through the cold weather, many animals as well this is all a part of life so give thanks for your loss for it grants access to new doors and possibilities.

Lunar Eclipse Info:

2. Close your eyes and ask for the moon's energy to show you what is blossoming in your life at this moment.

3. allow your mind to be clear of thoughts and allow the moon's energy to move through you, repeat in your mind "as above so below, as within so without, as the moon, so with me, bright, brilliant, beautiful" 14 times.

4. Following the recital take pen/pencil and paper then draw whatever shapes come to your mind, be it one , two, or three shapes draw all of them allow grand mother moon to move through you.

5. click here and look on this list of symbols to see which closely resembles the one you drew, be aware of its meaning, hold the symbol to your heart and recite its name 3 times (the name listed).

6. Repeat finally "as above so below, as within so without, as the moon, so with me, bright, brilliant, beautiful I release my intentions to the universe"

7. Following this burn the paper with the shapes and blow the ashes in the wind. (if you practiced the new moon ceremony burn that paper as well)

SM Meditation insight 3:
Fact to experience - Self-Confidence
Experience : Self - Confidence a feeling of trust in one's abilities, qualities, and judgment.

Confidence is a rain drop in the lake of our lives, that if traced carries us to the river, which connects us to the sea of global awareness, for to have Self-Confidence requires identification of self, Self is not the EGO , Ego is part of self as the droplet is a part of the sea.
Secondly Confidence is tied into Honesty, for first we must accept who we are, then be honest with ourselves and the world this is not an easy task for many.
Finally with arriving in the sea of global consciousness we realise that confidence is courage to be congruent, The strength to be honest with ourselves, with all our flaws.
All who quest upon this path find that we should embrace our imperfections, Self-Confidence is courageously accepting this journey and accepting what we find.

The Upper World

What Happens When We Die ?

I was recently on Fame 95 for "Uncensored" program and It inspired me to share information on the Upper World along with a recording of the interview. below

The Upper World

The Upper World is what psychiatry refers to as the superconscious, a realm that’s greater than the limited ego sense we have in our everyday existence.
All traditional societies refer to the Upper World (as do many religions), and each has its own map to describe the terrain. There are the Christian depictions of purgatory and paradise, which delineate the levels of purification humans must undergo before entering into paradise. There are the ancient maps of Tibet that illustrate the bardo planes, where a person’s soul atones for his mistakes and then returns to the light after much hardship and suffering. The laika tell of a multitiered landscape which is inhabited by the collective souls of minerals, plants, and animals , as well as the souls of our ancestors; and each of the five planes of this wolrd exists in a different relationship to time.
The Laika, believe that after your death, you naturally gravitate toward one of these levels of the Upper World based upon how you’ve lived your life. If you arrive in an unhealed state, for instance ,you’re consigned to the lower tiers, where you undergo a period of cleansing and purging. Yet if you live consciously, you can arrive at one of the higher tiers of the Upper World, where there’s no time or suffering…. Only joy.
The beings you meet in the upper world are there to guide you with regards to your soul contracts in this life, to reconnect us with our lifes purpose we chose before the human experience.

The Five Planes of the Upper World.

First Plane, Level of the Stone People
Once you pass the gatekeeper, you’ll enter into the lowest tiers of the Upper World. In the first level, time passes in a fashion similar to how you experience it in your world. It marches forward, taking the occasional detour to reverse itself, as it does in dreams, but it is basically linear.
This level is an earthbound world of darkness and suffering, where you purify yourself before moving on to higher levels that are filled with joy and peace. For indigenous cultures, the first level of the Upper World is known as the domain of the Stone people. This is where the essence and spirit of stones reside and energy vibrates at a very low frequency.
Great for stones not for people, No light, no senses, you have a vague awareness of the presence of others, but you can’t relate to them or communicate with them. Here’ there is only suffering.

Earthbound spirit that’s purging and cleansing and is still attached to a place where it might have lived or was killed, we’re referring to a spirit that’s stuck in the realm of the Stone People. They cling to the location of an automobile accident, a rape, a place where soul loss and life loss happened at the same time. They may also be bound to a person they loved or hated, lingering and clinging to them until the person joins them in the first tier, and their able to resolve their souls business together.
According to legend you can’t leave the first tier until you learn the way of stewardship of the earth represented by the Stone People. (unfinished business).

Second plane – Plant people
As a soul purges and heals, it becomes increasingly awake; consequently it may pass into the second tier of the Upper World. This level is much more pleasant for humans than the first. You can see, and all of your senses are available to you, but there continues to be suffering as you purge from your last lifetime. The tide of time still exerts a pull, and cause and effect still predominate.
here the many streams of your previous lifetimes run into the currents of your most recent existence. You not only recapitulate and experience the events of your recent past, but those of many other incarnations as well. You meet beings you recognize and who recognize you. As in a dream people from the distant past and from your recent lifetimes appear and seek forgiveness of vengeance. You can interact with them, but as in dreams, senses change rapidly and it takes a long time to find resolution.
You can’t leave the second tier until you accept responsibility for the stewardship of all green life, of the flowers, and of the forests. The plant people level is one of cleansing and growth, life and sunlight, it’s a green world where the spirits of plants reside.
The laika journey to this place to receive guidance as to which herbs and plants they should use for a person in need. It is from this wolrd that pharmacology first emerged among traditional peoples. Indigenous healers did not test 100 of remedies before finding what worked, they asked.

Third Plane: Level of the Animal Spirits

 This realm has the spirit of all animals and extinct species, individuals aren’t differentiated from each other and there’s nothing but a complete absorption with nature because animals have collective souls, unlike humans who have individual souls. There’s no consciousness, no separation from anything that occurs around you-instead, you’re abosorbed and possessed by the collective with no sense of I or self.
Time is completely fluid in this world, although there’s still a past and present.
The human soul that inhabit this world are in their final stages of purging. All that’s required now is that they awaken and realize that they’re dreaming. According to legend, you many not leave this tier until you can participate consciously in the evolution of all life.
During these 3 levels you will meet those you are familiar with but you cannot communicate each soul is focused on there own purging.

The Fourth Plane – Ancestors

 The souls of your ancestors reside in the fourth tier, and you can engage them in dialogue because they’ve finished their own atonement process. This domain is filled with people, places and things that mirror and parallel those from your world. Here you meet your loved ones who have completed the journey back home.
A shaman helps you in this life to heal so in the afterlife it is not required to journey through all of these planes.
This is all about preparing to meet your celestial parents, who will help you choose the next family you’ll be born into, the circumstances and place of your next birth, and what kind of life experiences you;’ll have in your next incarnation.
The life-review process occurs in the presence of your celestial parents, this is where you’re accused, the defendant, the judge and the jury all at once.
The 4^th tier is a realm of peace and rest for humans, where souls gather between incarnations. Even though you’ve purged and atoned, your soul’s history will determine your next incarnation. Time stands nearly still, but cause and effect and the law of karma still predominate. A minute in this realm can be a century of earth time.
Legend says you don’t evolve beyond this domain until you accept responsibility for dreaming the entire universe into being.

5^th Plane level of the highest

 From here you can climb a ladder into the fifth and highest level. The realm of angels, archangels where the great medicine healers reside. This is where all the souls dedicated to assisting humankind dwell, including the bodhisattvas of Buddhism and the saints of Christianity. This is where you meet your self that never entered the stream of time, the once containing all the knowledge of the person you’re evolving into.
